Asylum-seekers are legally entering the United States for fear of persecution in their home country. LSS-SW works with partners, including local churches and community organizations, to provide humanitarian assistance including food, clothing and hygiene products, case management and coordination, travel assistance, and legal orientation.

other Donations Needed
When asylum seekers arrive in Arizona, they often arrive with only the clothes on their backs. They will be continuing their travel via bus or plane, and could desperately use fresh clothing to change into and food for the journey. Can you preserve their dignity and respect with donations of the following?
Backpacks (new or gently used)
Travel snacks, including: granola bars, beef jerky, protein bars, fruit snacks, crackers, etc.
Gallon size Ziploc bags
Bottled water and gatorade
$25 Visa gift cards
New socks and new underwear, child and adult sizes
